I was selected through a competitive application process to a team of 10 MBAs at NYU Stern School of Business to work directly with WarnerMedia executives on a consulting project.
I coordinated with Louis Goldstein, Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at WarnerMedia. WarnerMedia’s strategy team was interested in a competitive market analysis to assess the position of their platform, HBOMax, in the “streaming wars” landscape.
I performed valuation analysis of the key competitors in the streaming space (identified the major players to be AppleTV+, Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, and HBOMax).
I subsequently proposed a product feature recommendation to offer HBOMax a competitive advantage. I pitched a platform extension called “HBO Hub.” HBO Hub integrates social tools within the streaming platform to allow for deeper consumer engagement and personalization.
